Busy dates and public holidays

Mother's Day (second Sunday of May), Father's Day (third Sunday of June), Amor y Amistad (third Saturday of September) and the last week of December are busy dates for restaurants in Colombia. These are customs, not legal holidays.

On busy dates the app suggests sending the staff card at least 5 working days before; on other dates at least 2. Working days are Monday to Friday without Colombian public holidays. These margins are suggestions until Piso 4 confirms its own notice.

Public holidays follow Ley 51 de 1983, which moves several holidays to the next Monday, and Ley 2578 de 2026, which added 9 July. The app computes them for any year.

Plan your moment

Write the run of the evening, keep the surprise secret and send Piso 4 a staff card. It is a request, not a booking.
